Confidentiality policy

I commit to maintaining confidentiality and protecting your data. I maintain all records and information in accordance with GDPR.

I will not disclose any identifiable information about you or someone you discuss except in the following circumstances:

  • If you or someone else is at risk, we will explore this together and mutually agree on how to proceed.

  • In rare legal situations I may be obliged to break confidentiality - for example terrorism, money laundering or identity theft. In these instances, if possible, I would be transparent and tell you what I was telling who.

In my own supervision our work will be discussed anonymously with my supervisor or peer-supervision group in a confidential space that focuses on my own practice. Where there is a potential connection between yourself and my supervisor (or member or supervision group), I will take extra steps to ensure anonymity, and where that is not possible, I will use an alternative supervision space.
